Born to Harry E Worley and Ana Marie Gonzales Worley on June 30, 1949 in Miami, OK, he have lived all his life in Grove, OK.  After graduating from Grove High School in 1967, he attended Oklahoma State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Math.  He then spent two years as a Second Lieutenant in the Signal Corps of the U. S. Army.  He returned to Central State University in Edmond OK., graduating in 1975 with A Bachelor of Science in Funeral Services.  He came to work for the Worley Funeral Home in 1975 and continued when it became Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.  His Dad H. E. Worley Jr. and his Granddad H. E. Worley Sr. both served the community here, his son Sean and he continue the tradition



Vanessa Morrison

Vanessa Morrison

Born to Ronald and Lydia Gladbach, Vanessa is the youngest of three children raised in the small town of Mendon, Missouri.

She graduated from Northwestern High School, Mendon and went on to earn her Associates of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science from Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg, Illinois. It was there she broke the record for being the youngest person to ever complete the program, earning her degree at the age of 19.

Vanessa has been employed with the Luginbuel company since May 2008. She is married to Gary Morrison and together they enjoy serving the wonderful communities of Grand Lake.


Sean Worley

Sean Worley

Funeral Associate

Born to Jerry Springsguth and Kay Clark Koelling on September 26, 1967 in Colorado Springs, Co.  He was adopted by Harry W Worley at the age of 13 and Harry became the loving father he needed.  A long time resident of Grove, graduating in the class of 1985.  He joined the armed forces in July of 1989 and served his country for 7 years. He returned to the family business in October of 2018.

Curt McCullough

Curt McCullough

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Curt McCullough joined the team at Worley – Luginbuel Funeral Home in February 2019 after working at Cheney Witt Chapel in Fort Scott, Kansas, and Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri 

Curt graduated from the Kansas City Kansas Community College School of Mortuary Science in Kansas City in May 2008 where he received his Embalmer and Funeral Director Certifications.  Prior to mortuary school, Curt pursued other interests in and near his hometown after graduating as part of the 1997 class of Pittsburg High School.  

Curt and his wife Kelley reside in the rural Joplin area along with their two fur babies, Morti and Marley.  Kelley has three grown children and they have one grandson, Cooper. 

Curt is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma; and looks forward to working with Worley – Luginbuel staff to provide excellent care for families in the four-state area.

Ellen was raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma with her four older brothers.  At the age of 12,  she moved with her parents to the Philippines where they served as missionaries. Ellen graduated from high school in the Philippines. She spent the summer of 1970 in Vietnam where she volunteered with the Red Cross at the U.S. Army Hospital. Ellen graduated from college at Bacone College in Muskogee and she attended Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. She lived in Utah, North Dakota and Texas before moving back to Oklahoma.

Ellen has worked for Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home since 2001. She enjoys travel, gardening and reading. 


Donna

Donna

Raised on a dairy farm in Zena, Oklahoma; Donna is the oldest daughter of Wayne and Fay Smith.  She is a graduate of Grove High School.  Donna worked multiple years for the local newspaper before taking a job with Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Homes in 2006.  Donna is the proud mother of three adult children, a member of the Zena Baptist Church where she serves as the assistant treasurer and is the Chairman of the Zena Cemetery Board.  Donna along with her father still tends to the daily chores on the family farm.
